Hate to say it, but you need them all. Unless you can rig up a make shift hook with a small bolt/nut combination. Cart part plus or smallblock maybe able to help there.

If your gonna order parts, check out that carb. spacer for cracks before you order, and I'd order gaskets for that area also if you remove that spacer. Old gaskets will be brittle.

My air box was missing a couple of tabs. I used some self tapping screws around them and zip tie it down. No problems and seals tight.

I saw a pic of an airbox where they just put a ratchet strap around the whole thing and strapped the lid down.

Quite honestly, I use a motorcycle air filter. Cheaper. My cart still runs.

Victorjohn's idea works also. A little more noise and you need to jet the carb. But you can get a performance gain with that. You can also get the same results with gutting the stock air box, and jetting.

Keeping the stock box might be a tad better in wet conditions, than the open filter!

I got the air box leaks stopped, but it still stumbles on full throttle. I am wondering if the carb is bad. Is it possible to take it off and clean it or would it be better to purchase a new carb?

I wanted to let everyone know that my air box had a leak that was causing the cart to stumble on full throttle.

Thanks for all your help

Glad you got it fixed When I "preach" about the G2/G9/G8 and the G14 air box's that are not sealed correctly that maybe causing your problem, please understand.... It's not that I personly want to sell you parts, yes I work for a Yamaha cart dealer, but I/or the dealership I work for are not site sponsors, so please take advantage of site sponsors or your local Yamaha dealer to get the parts you need to make your car run the best it can. I'm not a "ductape" kind of guy....if I need to replace something on my personal auto's/carts ect, I try to buy the parts needed to do the job correctly at a reasonable cost...sometimes it can cost more than I'd like to spend...sometimes not as much as I thought.
