Default Re: Anybody seen this G1 on ebay?

Video at the bottom.

Sounds like the throttle is on 1/4 all the time (typical for G1s) and it really needs some clutch work pretty boggy from a stop. Its not going to be quick with 27s, but could run better than the video for sure if the engagement were higher. I see it does have a spring in the secondary. Have no idea what muffler is on it that could affect power too, not seeing the stock muffler or a pipe. Certainly a showoff machine more than anything, but it does look good. LOLs at the guy getting on it in the video, that sucker is high it needs some of those truck steps or nerf bars, something. That front is a three link right? Does not look overly HD but likely good enough for the intent of this cart. Would be a cool toy for the right price but who knows what the reserve is. The right exhaust and clutch would make it work better IMHO, but not sure I'd want to do more than that. One could drop a newer body on it, but you'd have to swap the rear to put a 4 stroke in it and paint the body....not sure it would be worth the hassle given its capabilities. Or hey you could do a bravo swap fairly cheap that would liven it up, I think that is what I would do.

May be the baddest looking G1 I ever saw though, even if its not that trail worthy or fast. Take away the awesome lift, paint, and wheels/tires and its pretty unremarkable....but what a huge lift and its not a hack job.

I wouldn't drive it out of my yard, as I know nothing about those engines..if it was an ez go fixed up like that, I might drive it just to say I did, then rip the engine out and put something that matches the cart a little better..like a quad four out of an eighties buick..
and those "24" MONSTER COIL OVER SHOCKS" would have to go too..an put
something that won't fold under up there..ah forget it.
With the hurricanes and all that down here, and the thunderboomers..that thing would get blown over pretty quick.
