Hogman, here is what I have. I made the seat backs straight up to move the rear seat riders rear ends a bit farther over the rear axle thinking; "I don't care if their comfortable back there, it won't be me". Well I'm back there a whole lot more than I planned on!

The front bar is a Jakes, about $130. It was just to cute to pass up, with the big lights on it. If I were to do it again, knowing what I know now, I might try to make it! But having never seen one for real, I just didn't know how big or small to make it so...

The lights are Harbor Freight, about $15.ea. Their 55 watt so only 4 amps apiece, good choice for the 15 amp generator on our cars, and they do very well on a 25 MPH car. Then I used LED's in the tail lights.

Dang it!! Everytime I look at Spot I know this is going to cost me more time and money!!! I hate this forum now.

Let's see, I started with the project to add:
1)heavier springs
2)rear flip seat

Now I have to add
3)front bumper
4)front and rear lights
5)lift kit
6)aluminum wheels
7)radio

Someone tell me that this is the end of the mods I will be doing. Afterall, this is my acreage cart. I'm certain there can be no other modifications for a golf cart....

Mike - Arghh!!! You are the truly the Darth Vader of the golfcart world. You insist everyone come to the darkside.....

Oh well, Is yours a 6" lift? I like the stance of your cart. What wheels did you end up running on it?

I think I can sell this to the wife as additonal ground clearance when we are out in the back acres.... Need those lights to see the varmits. Brush guard in case we bump into one. Still working on the radio justification...

Buddy, I'm more like the rat lerking in the corner. I just steal everybodys ideas. Everything on my car I stole from somebody! A Darth Vader am not I! And, it's yellow, whats dark about that?!!!

Yes, I have the Jake's single A-arm 6" lift, With douglas 10" wheels, Don't remember model #, but can get it if you need it. They are a simple 4 spoke design, roughly resemble wheels on my pick-up (I'm old school), don't like the black creations of today. I used Carlisle 489's for tires, 23 x 7 on 10". They are light weight at 14 # a tire. Ya know, the unsprung weight and rotating mass thing, with 9HP!

I think you have the coil overs handled, I did shim the front shocks with shaft collars to stop a negative camber issue I was having when 2 or more adults were in the car. Worked well, you can see pictures in my signature album. Stopped the squat when you back up, stopped body roll in high speed cornering, as well as moving the lower shock mount back out to the second hole for more shock control. Just a good move! Here's a couple pictures.

Yes, R2. And the best one out there!! I don't want a window when off roading, or on for that matter, they get dirty, and you can't see crap!! The one I got keeps the rain and cold weather out. It's all I need! I don't have it on except in those conditions. I did have to skirt the bottom to keep rain from coming in at your feet. It velcros on, so no holes to drill! Well built! You can roll it up and carry it on the car incase you run into bad weather.

I think I got it at "Everything carts". It is a "universal wind sheld", about $35.

How are the new shocks working?

And Hog, you can't blame me for the radio, Spot aint got one...But Masons does!!

Jim, I went to everything, and I can't find the window, when I get back home, I will look for the receipt.
