98 CC forward and reverse question (help)
my brother has a 98 cc and the gear selector is reversed forward is reverse and reverse is forward and when we drive it in the forward direction witch says reverse it wines real bad once we get going but is slow and the motor is wound out(high rpm) when we drive it in reverse witch says drive the noise goes away and it hauls *** but going the wrong direction lol. any help or advise would be great thanks brad

Sounds like you have an older engine which is a different rotation.

Yeah sounds like someone swapped engines or rear differential with one from an older (96 and older) counterclockwise rotation.
