Brake Paw Thingy
Ok you brain surgeons..... igot the bright idea after driving around for a few years with a stuck parking brake paw to replace the kit. New tooth peice and new rod and hook. I never marked the old paw location or took photos on the old one... thought oh no worries itll have a keyway itn. Nope its got a spline shacft. I got basicly a 1 in 20 chance to set it right.
The rod I adjusted... and I applied antiseize to the threads and the ball socket for lube and antiseizing help! I set the rod to the same length as old one. Any one got any pictures or help how and eere to set the paw? Heres a picture to help....Thanks! |

Re: Brake Paw Thingy
Your spelling and pronunciation is getting much better my friend! (or am I just used to it?)
Click, click, and click again to expand and read! The last pic is installation... it's for a sparky, but, it's set up the same way for a gasser! (less the MCOR) hill brake1.jpg hillbrake2.jpg hillbrake3.jpg hillbrakeadjust.jpg |
