The shaft is very durable, but not indestructible for sure.
Did you try 2 lid removers and working it from both sides (wiggling it)? You can also apply CO2 to the shaft to shrink the diameter a little to help loosen it up. You can also take a brass hammer and tap on the shaft as you are prying it... (I HATE THOSE MAGNETS!) |

Just went and picked up this...

That's a good one! Need to add one to the tool box.
In my case I pulled the motor and pulled the bearing and it pulled the magnet. If for some reason I want to go back to the stock magnet I would try it. |
