You can ID the gear ratio by removing the motor. Mark 12 o'clock on the input shaft with some white out or ? Mark the tire the same. Now rotate the tire and count how many times it goes around for the input shaft to go around. Than't your gear ratio. Stock is 12.44 : 1

Since it is an IQ cart it may be easier to just remove the passenger side wheel, pop the speed sensor and mark the motor shaft.

Keep in mind since those carts use a simple differential, if you keep the driver side wheel on the ground, you need to make 2 full revolutions of the passenger side wheel to get the proper gear ratio.

It's gears. Just swap them out and you're good to go. That motor on stock controller will get you 23ish. Upgrade the controller for more torque.

I can't tell what controller is under the cover, but it's nothing big. The biggest controller I've ever seen fit under that cover is the Curtis 350 amp, which is only 100 amps over stock. I'm with Sunoco. It's gears that are making it go so fast. You're lucky though. It's gonna be a lot cheaper to slow it down than speed it up. If you'll put an ad in the For Sale section of this site and offer to trade the entire drive unit for a stock one I'm sure somebody will jump all over it.

I have a very simple solution! I will trade you a 20 mph cart for this one, or simply buy this one and take the headache of your hands . All out of the kindness of my heart. Lolol. Really tho, I will

Scotty/Sergio,

Stupid question here... please feel free to laugh at me. How can i see how may times the input shaft rotates without removing the motor?

Take the motor off if you want but at this point it doesn't matter what gears are in it. Buy some stock gears and it should put you at 23/24 (not sure of your actual tire diameter)

When you remove the speed sensor from the end of the Motor you can see the armature shaft.

You would just put a mark on the visible shaft/magnet and count the rotations without having to remove the motor.

You can check the for sale section and post an ad to buy stock gears for folks that have upgraded their gears.

If You remove the gears first, this post has the information on how to calculate the ratio based on the number of teeth on the different gears (so You can sell yours):
