Yes, that is my controller.
Is this how to use J5 for solenoid activation ?
Set:
Rev Input / Main Driver parameter = 2
Contactor Protection = ON
Main Drop Delay = 5 (or whatever delay you want)

Wire the Solenoid negative activation small post to Controller J5.

That is correct, but that was assuming that the MCOR micro-switch was bad and from your subsequent posts it appears the issue is the throttle value is too high by the time the Controller is booted and ready to go.

Just wire the Controller J1 directly to the cold side of the key switch (Controller will be activated by the key switch).

Leave the solenoid positive activation wired to the MCOR micro-switch.

Monitor the throttle rate with the pedal UP and right before the solenoid clicks to see how high both readings are.

Throttle was already set at 10%. Set it to 12%, it made no difference.
Could I leave existing keyswitch wiring and run J5 to small neg solenoid post and use with active main contactor setting 2 ?
I would remove yellow wire from OBC to small neg post to disable solenoid activation thru that circuit.
Will this work ?

The 10% setting for throttle deadband should be fine.

As long as the MCOR micro-switch is working properly, using J5 for the solenoid negative would not provide any additional benefit.

When You said "it made no difference", what did You mean?

With the Controller being powered by the key switch you should not be able to get an HPD fault.

You can use Controller J5 to set the reverse speed.

I am still having the same problem with deadband set to 10 and 12%.
When I let off pedal ,it is no go for 15 to 20 seconds. Then it goes.
I need to find a way to delay throttle signal to controller.
It seems it is getting throttle signal before it can boot up.

The Controller boots when it gets +48v power on J1 which is now coming from the key switch so it does not go OFF when you lift your foot from the pedal.

You do have a 250Ω x 10W pre-charge resistor on the Solenoid big posts right?

I was hoping to find a way to avoid wiring J1 to key switch, as controller will have power all the time.
I have 375 X 10 precharge resistor.
