Just take the shocks off and see how it rides. Could be they are limiting your spring travel.

No, they are only dampeners and you are dealing with sprung steel. If you watch the shocks, they are not hardly moving because the suspension is sooo stiff there is no to very little travel. Again, you can either remove a leaf to lessen the stiffness and increase spring travel or change over to the dual set up that others suggested.
Or Dundee's suggestion if you want to go back to where you were. |
