XCT500 and Admiral A4 Installed Problem?
Installed XCT500, 400a solenoid, Admiral A4, 2 ga cables, and 6 new 8v Trojans in my 2007 Precedent with lift and 23" tires a few weeks ago. Completed the break in period for the new motor and batteries. The motor temp after a 4 mile WOT is about 140 degrees now. Is that too hot? The Alltrax has the torque map installed and speed limit set to 6000 rpms. Also while monitoring with my laptop on a ride I noticed that while running 24 mph (as fast as it will go) it shows that I am only turning 2200 rpms? That seems extremely low to me. Cart has factory gear ratio. Any help or experience with this setup will be greatly appreciated. Wondering if I possibly have a faulty speed sensor in motor, wiring issue, or programming issue.

I think all aftermarket motors are 4 pole.

Re: XCT500 and Admiral A4 Installed Problem?
I will try setting to 4 pole tomorrow and see if that corrects the rpm reading issue.
Thank you |

4 pole is correct for the Admiral motors.
PS>> 140º case temperature is quite acceptable |
