I assumed with as many transaxles out there that there is, there would be parts for them.

I thought this was a personal cart, not a fleet or public cart. The Axles, Inc. might not be a good option either if your worried about customers using the carts recklessly.

Not rentals per se. I'm the mechanic for a summer camp business and we use the carts during the summer. Only employees drive the carts, and they are "trained" to drive them, but not all of them have as much sense as you'd like to think they should...

Had one end up in the lake this year. Luckily the driver wast hurt.
The cart dug in the mud and stopped before any of the electronics got wet, so all it needed was a few suspension parts, front wheel bearings repacked, and a good wash, and it was ready to roll again.

Yeah I kinda had a feeling the older axles may not be supported anymore. Even with as many as there may be, there is probably little to no demand for parts for a 20+ year old axle. There is aftermarket support for them if you want high speed gears, which most owners are probably inclined to buy if they're doing this sort of repair.
