Default Hazards flashing with head lights on

I have a 2003 CC DS / 48V that I just bought. I installed a Madjax LED light kit and the upgrade kit with blinkers, horn and brake lights to make it street legal where I live. I also used a MJ 12 volt reducer, finished installing yesterday.

My blinkers work, the horn as well as the brake lights. When I turn the head lights on (and they work fine), the hazards (all 4 blinkers) start flashing. If I step on the brakes with the head lights on, the hazards stop blinking until I let off, same goes if I use the turn signal, the blinkers work to the side I have it switched too (the hazards stop flashing), until flop the lever back.

Is this a safety feature that's built into the Madjax kit, that makes them flash at night for driving on the street, or do I have a wiring issue of some kind?

List of what I bought:
Madjax LED Light Kit - Fits Club Car DS 02-033
Madjax Ultimate Upgrade for Basic Light Kits (Includes Turn Signal Switch, Brake Pad, & Horn) 02-006
Madjax Harness for ultimate upgrade 02-018
Reliance Power Converter 30 Amp, 36 or 48 Volt to 12 Volt 13-030

Any words of wisdom, knowledge or help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Update: After fiddling with it, I didn't realize the head lights would come on without the dashboard rocker switch in the off position. Needless to say the rocker switch is the hazard lights. So all is well and everything works great.

Well done. It's always nice when you work out the wrinkles for yourself.
