No reverse
Hi I have an older like 89 cc 36v cart been sitting for 7 years I charged it up and cleaned some connections seems to run good but it has no reverse connections? There is no click or anything in reverse. Thanks in advance

Check the microswitches on the FNR. Make sure they’re all working and connected.

Not sure but that cart may get its power for reverse from a different cable going from the fnr to the center front battery. Is this a resistance cart or does it have a controller?

I would assume resistence has a large coil between 4 of the power solinoids
|

I belive there are 2 seprate wires to reverse the polarity

Okay here are some wiring diagrams that might help. Look at post numbers 4 and 9 for guidance. Reverse power on that system comes from a cable running from the positive on the number 4 battery (drivers side center front post) to the bottom right lug on the fnr switch. Make sure nothing else is connected to the fnr lug
