98 Club Car DS Clicks but doesn't move
Bought a used 98 Club Car DS 48V. It has a lift and tires on it. Purchased new trojans a couple of months ago and it has ran like a top. Over the last few weeks it would intermittently not go when pressing the pedal. It would click, but no movement. Now it is no longer intermittent...still clicks, no movement. Local shop suggested I clean the contacts and spray WD-40, didn't work. Is this a bad FnR switch? If so, would it make sense to get a HD version? Currently have no mods, but plan to upgrade controller at some point for more torque.

You need to check and see if the solenoid is sending power tru it.If so then your going to check controller and motor.

Re: 98 Club Car DS Clicks but doesn't move
Jump the big posts of the solenoid and see if the cart runs. If it does, bad solenoid.
If not, like suggested, your on to motor and controller |
