2001 EZGO Engine Takes Off Too Soon
My 2001 golf cart when you hardly press the gas pedal, the solenoid clicks and starts to turn the engine over, way before the throttle cable actually moves by the engine. You press down about halfway on the gas pedal before the cable actually moves in the back of the machine.
So when driving if you want to feather the gas pedal at all, the thing will jump or lunge when you hardly move the pedal from completley off position. Can anyone direct me on what I need to adjust to get this changed? |

Re: 2001 EZGO Engine Takes Off Too Soon
I had this problem with a 1995 TXT right after I pulled the slack out of the cables. I would say try putting a little slack in the cables and see if that helps.
