Default Curtis 1205M Controller in Old D9 Serial number

Hi Guys,

I have a Club Car here with a D9 serial number. 48V electric.
The customer complains about slow speed especially uphill.

Can I install a Curtis 1205M? Physical configuration looks the same as the current controller??

Thanks. Any input or experience would be appreciated.
