2011 25 Danaher to (upgraded) Curtis conversion
Hey folks! I recently came across 2 EZGO 2fives. Both are 2011s and seem to run great. I’m in Myrtle Beach, and I really wanted a LSV, and here we are.
I would like more speed. I have an 08 RXV with a TAC1 Navitas 600 that I love, but wanted it legal. So the 2Five is my solution, and somehow I wound up with two. So, I’d love to buy a Boyce tuned Curtis I think. Unless it would be easier to go with a Navitas controller if that’s even possible. I see the white 2Five whipping around North Myrtle Beach with the “Tuned By Boyce” stickers and am completely envious 😉. How can I mover forward? Thanks!! |

That 2Five should do 25mph from the factory. How fast was you wanting to go? What controller does the 2011 have in it?

I believe it has a slightly different minor amperage bump than the typical Danaher for the year.

I would like it to go about 30 like my RXV. Right now it will hit 25, but it’s a bit of a struggle and any resistance takes its toll. That’s why I’m thinking an upgraded Curtis or a Navitas.

We have a lot of open areas that we drive. And we can go pretty quickly in a fairly safe fashion. It’s. 2Five so it’s lower and have resistive breaking and disk all around. I was hoping there is something I can do with adding a Curtis and having it professionally tuned.
