Default 95 gas ezgo steering.. righty no lefty

I have read a bunch of threads about this problem and have ordered the appropriate kit, however i can't find a step by step instruction anywhere?
Its referenced in a few threads but i can't find it in a search.
Anyhow, do i remove the steering column? or do everything from underneath?
thanks
F

There are a couple of bolts from under the dash, and if I remember right there is one or two from the front end of the cart as well.

Cool thanks guys, so just pull the whole steering unit out? Then pull the worn rack and pinion? Or will the rack pull out once the steering column is out>?
