service manual g1
Hi Everyone, I just got a 1986 g1 from a friend who had it in her garage and needed the space. It doesn't run and the compression is 60 psi. It does have a new piston. I belive it could be crankshaft seals, from reading some of the post here.Should I buy a service manual and try to repair it myself or pull the engine and take it to a shop. How much would that cost? Thanks for any advice. Bill

Re: service manual g1
Good advice. I got one from tew and am tearing into those crankshaft seals. Hey do you guys know if I have to do some modification to my cart if I want to lift it. One vendor was saying the clutch will rub on the frame and I would have to do some metal fabracation.
