Re: EZGO Marathon slow taking off and stops on any incline
Probably needs a controller and a new solenoid wouldn't hurt.
I'd go with an Alltrax SR48x00 and comparable solenoid. I buy most of my stuff from: https://www.cartsunlimited.net/alltrax-sr-series--.html I'm not sure if he ships to Canada, or what the cost will be after VAT or whatever Ottawa calls armed robbery by the government these days. Also my try any of these guys: https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/site-sponsors.php |

Re: EZGO Marathon slow taking off and stops on any incline
I'm going too replace all the cables and the solenoid and look around for a new controller thanks for the help. Also can that controller handle 48 volts aswell as 36, again just too have room to upgrade in the future. Would I have to upgrade the motor if I got a 48 volt solenoid and controller.

Quote:
A MZJ400 Solenoid will work at 36V and 48V The stock motor will run better at 48V. I did cables, then controller/solenoid and then upped the battery pack voltage. |

Re: EZGO Marathon slow taking off and stops on any incline
The motor's 2 HP rating is at 36V, it'll have ~2.7HP at 48V and run cooler.
