EZGO Gas Workhorse fouling out plugs
I bought my first gas cart EZGO Workhorse, with a Robin EH35C engine. I test drove it Friday night and it ran great. Took it out Saturday, and it is sluggish. Previous owner said he had it tuned up a couple of weeks ago. When I take out the spark plugs, the cylinder on the drivers side plug is fouled out with gas. Passenger side is normal. I think it’s fouling out the minute it starts, as it’s immediately wet. I checked, and it has spark. I have inspected the fuel filter, looks clean, checked air gas mix screw (tightened down, backed of 1 1/2 turns), changed the spark plugs. Doing compression check tomorrow. I don’t know why it ran perfect Friday, and not now. My first rodeo with a gas cart, so all input is welcome. Thanks.

Re: EZGO Gas Workhorse fouling out plugs
You are on the right track by checking compression. What year is the EZ Go? The valves may want adjusting. The compression check will tell you that. Have you noticed any blue smoke when you start it? Worn out valve seals will foul a plug in a short period of time. Dont worry, adjusting the valves is very easy and fast and installing seals is very easy as well.
