1988 marathon 2pg wont spark

Is the black wire on the ignitor connected to ground?
Also, the yellow/red wire on the ignitor should have 12vdc when the pedal is pressed.

Check again its got enough spark when its turning over but not enough to start the engine.

Added another ground now it has enough spark to shock me when its turning over but not enough to start the engine. So correct me if I'm wrong but if it was the puslar bad I would get NO spark at all when its turning over right ?? Also tried my neighbors coil off his cart that we know is good and still not enough spark.

Pulsar seems to be good.
If you fire the plug outside the motor, does it actually spark?

OK I'm back. I do have good ground to the black wire and yellow/red wire has 12 volts.

Yes but the biggest spark is when the peddle is first pressed then the spark is so low you have to grab it to tell if it sparks but a very low spark is present.

Did you measure voltage between the black wire(not anywhere else) and the yellow/red while cranking?
You need to measure right at the wires, not the terminals they are connected to. If a connection is bad, measuring at the terminal won't show that.
