Yamaha G2/G9 wont go when I push the pedal
HELP.....When I push the gas pedal on my Yamaha gas cart all I here is some clicking, and when I look at the starter generator it barely moves. I then release the pedal and repeat several more times and the cart will go. Where should I start? The solenoid, or the starter generator.. All wires have a good connection and none are corroded. Thanks for all your help.....I believe its a 1984 cart.. Don't know much else about it.....

Like others said before, eliminate the battery and high current connections as a source of trouble first. Good luck - Ray
