Please help on cart value
Help on cart value.
I am trying to help a friend with the value of his Golf cart. He has a Gas 1995 Medalist that he would like to sell. It is stock (no extras) in average condition. It is located in Iowa. I have searched the web. cant find anything to base price on. Can anyone give me a ballpark value? Thanks |

Re: Please help on cart value
800-1200 would be a decent range depending on your cart market if carts are scares then it could bring more i would start it at 1500 obo on craigslist and see where you get

Thanks nobuckbuild
That should help. He gave 2000 for this cart 5 years ago. I though that was a little high then buy it is what it is. That should give him a start. I just want him to be realistic with the price. Thanks |

Re: Please help on cart value
800-1000 would be a good start. We just moved a 2002 EZGO sparky that was garage kept with the rear flip for 2100.

Re: Please help on cart value
Well I gave him the information that is got here.
He gave 2000 for it 5 years ago from a dealer and thinks it is still worth 2000. I tried to help him with his sale. I guess I will just stay out of it. Thanks for your replies. |

Re: Please help on cart value
Sounds like he paid too much at the time from a dealer. Maybe not but I think he will have a hard time getting that out of a stock 95 medalist now. If it were customized and had bells and whistles to add value then maybe he could get close.

Re: Please help on cart value
I live in Central IL and I've seen similar around here sell for around $1500 or even a bit more depending on the shape. A lot of towns around here are making it legal for golf carts to be driven around town so the prices have really gone up. There's a 1995 Columbia going for $1500 on our local craigslist. Seems like here anything between the $1000-$2000 range sell as fast as they are listed. I've seen some pretty rugged carts that were in need of engine work selling for a $1000. The only carts I see selling for less than a grand are carts that don't run. Like already mentioned it really depends on your cart market.
