ezgo gas
ihave a 95 jacobsen gxj 810 with a eh29c engine i am told that this is the same as a marthon my question is about the driven clutch spring, what is the difference between a spring with tabs on each end a spring that is flat on each end ? thanks!

I have seen the spring with tabs on it on 4 strokes, not sure if they used it on 2 strokes or not. Never saw one on a 2 stroke, nor have I seen it listed in parts for 2 strokes. But then there are others here who know a lot more about carts than I do.

I've never seen a 4 stroke robins engine with a stock driven clutch that didn't have the spring tabs...
