What needs to be done if anything to run 22" tires?
I'm not talking lift or offset rims, but any motor or clutch upgrades?
Like in electric I know you need controllers, cables, reversing contactor, and possibly motor or more batteries, to achieve desirable off road results with more weight and larger tires. |

I have run 22s in the past on a 4 inch lifted txt with the 295 engine. No issues

Speed was not a problem. I don't know the exact top end but it was fast enough. Torque wise it would move 2 big adults and 2 kids with no problems and if you weren't happy you could put a shorter belt on it.

Torque loss with bigger tires is proportionate to the tire size increase.
Stock tires are 18". 22" tires are more than 20% taller than stock. Expect a 20% decrease in torque (power). |
