What Part??
Can anybody ID this part for me? What it is and what it may fit?

That's the thing...The only part number on it is for the solenoid. The other part has no name or part number. It looks to me like some sort of starter....

Looked it up and it says used on snowmobiles, golf carts lawn tractors and atv's. That kind of narrows it down. I don't think it looks like a golf cart setup.

Im selling out an old cart business inventory and I got like 10 of these, im sure they were for golf carts, just cant figure out what.

It has a geared bendix. I can see the helix where the gear slides out to engage a flywheel.
It's definitely just a starter, and not a starter generator. The Trombetta number 812-1201-216-06 is strictly for the solenoid. It is rated for intermittent duty. I don't believe it belongs to a golf cart. |

Honestly to me, with the mounting bracket and exposed gear, it resembles a starter from a twin cylinder vertical shaft lawn tractor engine, which I have no idea
