Check your throttle shaft bushings on the carb. No wobble or gaps.
Air leak there can cause all sorts of odd running issues. Also very common. Make sure the shaft has not dropped and worn the bottom of the butterfly. This will make air pass the top of the butterfly. On your other thread the air cleaner might hit the frame or fender well when the rear suspension goes up and down. Could shear off the carb. Should mount it with a flexible hose to allow a little give. A radiator hose with a spring to keep it from collapsing should work. |
