Can you resurface or buy clutch pulley?
I've been looking into why my '91 3PG 2 stroke cart looses speed on high speed inclines. It's running good, and the belt is newer. But after searching other posts.... and looking at pictures. I notice that my drive clutch has a pretty good sized dip about 3/4 the way towards the top of the pulley faces.
Only thing I can think of is the belt was slipping forever where the governor used to let the belt ride at WOT. Am I out of luck and have to just look forward to buying a new clutch? All I find as individual parts are the springs, weights, and washers. |

Re: Can you resurface or buy clutch pulley?
I have yet to find a primary clutch rebuild kit for my 2pg. I think you will be stuck with buying a new one like I had to. Over all, I am pretty happy with the quality of the replacement clutch I got over the factory 30 year old clutch.
