ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
I need the assembly of the magneto right behind the flywheel. Does anybody have a spare or know where to go to find one? I have called many golf cart boneyards and no luck.
Thanks |

Re: ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
you will probably need to call around some stator shops and see if they will rewind them for you

Re: ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
The motor is almost exactly the same as a bravo or enticer snowmobile. Look on ebay for one.

Re: ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
the coils are junk also, I have heard about the bravo 250 being the same but no one has came out and said they work. Are you sure they will work?

Re: ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
Never had to get a new one for mine so I can't say with 100% certainty, but when I looked at pictures they appear exactly the same. Hopefully someone who has done this in the past will see this post and confirm.

Re: ISO Yamaha G1 magneto Assembly
they are different. the bravo has an extra coil, for what I don't know. the g1 has the pulsar coil and the primary im guessing the bravo has a separate coil for lighting?? the plates will physically swap out but unsure on wiring. Id need to see a 250 bravo wiring schematic to get a better idea. the first stator is the bravo stator with the second being the G1 stator.
