Main jet G9 vs G16
I want to change main jet in a g16, I have a couple of spares from my g9 & would like to know if they are the same fitment before I go ahead & remove the carb if possible.
From what I can see the carb is slightly different but I'm hoping the jets are same type. Any insight greatly appreciated. Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using Tapatalk |

Re: Main jet G9 vs G16
According to Partzilla, the G16 main jet (part no. 3G2-1423E-34-00) is a #86.3
The G9 main jet (p/n 3G2-1423E-41-00) is a #103.8 The jets themselves should be interchangeable as far as fitment, as both are Mikuni carbs. However, that's a pretty big increase in size so it will probably run quite rich. |

Re: Main jet G9 vs G16
Great, thanks very much.
I ended up with a 125 or 130 jet in the g9 after airbox mods so the standard one out of that could be a good start in the g16. Thank you for the response. Sent from my Moto Z2 Play using Tapatalk |
