G16 transaxle
I picked up a G16 transaxle from a member. It is in pieces, the input shaft is missing, and water has been in it at some time. All the bearings will be replaced with OEM.
Do the bearings have to be pressed onto the differential? I'm having a hard time removing the 2 bearings inside the case. When I get those out, will the new bearings tap into place after being in the freezer, like an input shaft bearing will? |
