About to order brake shoes for my g1. But im not sure what year it is. Ive crossed the serial number and cannot match it.

I've always liked to use OEM Yamaha shoes, just based on complaints from others about the poor fit of the knock-offs. Brake drums, too.

OEM brake shoes are the same price.

Totally agree. Aftermarket shoes will not stop the car well!
