Getting different fixes for camber issue
Talked to a gent from a golf cart shop today explained my issues, bad camber after putting bigger tires on jacked up front end nothing is really loose as far as kingpins or bearings , he said front shocks are worn out . Does this seem like a possible cause ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It depends on the type of lift you used

Re: Getting different fixes for camber issue
Is that picture from when you just took the jack out or after you drove it around?

Getting different fixes for camber issue
Quote:
After the jack is out , I explained to the guy I spoke to that when I go in reverse the wheels seem to straighten out but when I go forward they get the bad camber , his solution was front shocks. Which didn’t seem to make sense but iam having a hard time figuring it out . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Getting different fixes for camber issue
Too much toe-in will do this too. Try setting toe to near zero.

Re: Getting different fixes for camber issue
I’ve adjusted toe a few times using a tape measure doesn’t seam to correct the camber. The only thing that has any play in the front end is the tie rods which I would think there should be a little play in those No ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Getting different fixes for camber issue
On a Yamaha with original single A-frames -- there is no adjustment for camber. It's fixed and controlled by shock height. Putting larger tires on will only make your problems more apparent. If you want true front end adjust ability you'll need to go to a double A-frame front suspension with heim joints.
If you look at the pictures one has the camber way out at the top. Being able to change the length of the lower control arm moves the lower kingpin outward to adjust the camber like in the second picture. Hope this helps explain what your in to. |

Re: Getting different fixes for camber issue
You have a positive camber, I would think if your shocks were wore out you would have a negative camber..
