Getting different fixes for camber issue

First replace any worn steering parts, there should be no play in the tie rod ends, you said it changes between forward and reverse, if you have play in them that will change your toe in as the wheels go the different directions, also check for play where the lower control arms bolt to the frame, if so sometimes a metric bolt is just enough larger to take up the play.

Checked kingpins and bearings both seem solid , its more the steering box that has play then the tie rod ends gonna take the cover off pack with grease and tighten that screw a bit and see what happens.

Don’t be nervous about drilling holes. I did and it fixed my camber. Mines all set now. Also I did tighten the steering box screw just a tad and it did indeed tighten the steering nicely
