Default 1986 2 Stroke Gas EZGO Cart - Picture of Engine

I've never done any mechanical/engine work before but I wanted to try to rebuild the top end of the engine in an old cart I bought.....I made a rookie mistake......I didn't take pictures of my motor before I dismantled it to replace cylinder and piston...now that I've got it back together and want to put it in the cart, I've forgotten exactly where it all goes......I know...putz! ....does anyone have any pictures of the stock engine, installed, in an 86 gas cart that I could use as a guide....

well...I have it back together (thanks to nomo) but I can't get any spark....I'm concerned that I may have messed up my labelling when I disconnected the starter/alternator......she turns over very well but I pulled the plug and checked for spark while I turned it over and there is none....does anyone have a diagram of the wiring specs for the starter/alternator.....the starter has all the posts identified but the wires them selves are missing labels so I need to know if I have everything in the right position........

Sounds like an over voltage that has welded the solenoid closed, and possibly the pedal microswitch.

There is a small green wire that attaches to the starter. Is it connected to the center terminal of your voltage regulator?
