Re: No reverse
It's a "blow boat" paradise. My bride and I did get out on the last day of 10. It was flat as a farm pond and we went out about 60 miles. Had ice on the boat and 42 degree water on the beach. Out deep, we had 69 degree water and I was down to a tee shirt by 10 am. Slayed'em.

Re: No reverse
Gleemo, I printed the wiring diagram. It's close but not the exact one. I have the 1510-5201 48v 250 amp controller and is different from the one in the diagram. I cannot find the 3 limit switches anywhere. The motor is a D&D with a mfg date of 11/28/08 (just FYI).

Re: No reverse
On your IQ cart there is no micro limit switches. The series motor with a lever under right leg has the three that I think GLEEMO was talking about? Have you check continuity from F&R rocker switch back to input on controller?
If I have correct wiring for your 1510-5201 controller it would be as follows Reverse Blue Wire Goes To Pin 16 Forward Brown Wire Goes To Pin 8 Hope this will be of some help? |

Re: No reverse
IQ Testing Procedure attached. This should help you isolate it. Testing IQ is the same regardless of DS or Precedent and year. This is from a Club Car Service Manual.

Re: No reverse
Thanks CheapJeep2 a bunch. That is a wealth on information. I'll start on page 1 and continue untill I find it. Thank you to Old Mec, I'll make sure there are no issues on pin 8 and 16 also. Back to the garage boys, I'll let you know how it goes.

Re: No reverse
Not yet. I had to order a pin piercing probe for my DVM. I don't want to cause more problems by damaging the wiring. Sand + salt air + electricity = green death to wiring. Impatiently waiting though and thank you again.

Re: No reverse
I cheat and use very small sewing needles with loops soldered on thread end for easy meter leads clipping on. I live less than 10 miles from ocean so I am well aware of what salt water air can do to metals.

Re: No reverse
I tried the needle trick Old Mec but my bloody and sore forefinger made me decide to just wait a couple of days. I'm back on it in the morning though.
