Default 36 volt Anolog battery Gauge

I just installed an Anolog 36 volt Batery Charge indicator gauge in my 1984 Club Car. The gauge has four indicators from left to right. red, green, white with CHG, and red at the end. Presently the indicator hand is in the white area. Does this indicated a full charge. Does anyone have any information that they might Share with me on this subject? My indicator came with no operation instructions.

Welcome !!!

If it is in the white are I would guess your batteries need to be charged, get a pack voltage reading to see what condition you batteries are in. After a full charge check your indicator again to see where the needle is.

welcome, if its just an analog gage its not gonna be precise but it will be accurate......the green area might be where the gage is after a full charge and the cart is just sitting and while driving it should be in the green area that is in a perfect world...........like i said it will work but its not like a swiss watch......if you want that maybe a led battery gage where the bars drop as your voltage gets lower thats better than analog but still not swiss watch.......................
