David after trying for hours to get the software to work I found my diagnostic connector rusted out guess I should Have looked up while laying on the floor.

So I cut it out and installed a earphone jack, (stereo) This is what I had used on a microcontroller project and already had DB9 to Stereo Plug harness made up.

After running the program and watching the serial port, I think I will be able to make a microcontroller interface for the Curtis Controller. I think I can make a reader to monitor the state of the sensors, bat voltage controller output and much more, which would make it much easier for people to work on there units.

I have done some programming of the controller using a terminal program like mode 1 through 3, this worked great, I have programmed mode 4 into the controller, it took it but the speed did not change??? guess I need code a,b and c.

Now as far as connectors Were can I get the diagnostic connector both male and female if this is to much then I will use the molex connector on the Curtis controller guess I need to do some research.
