I guess it doesn't say that you have to use them.

I got mine installed at Extreme Carts in Rockledge, FL. 321-693-1237 (Troy), but I'm sure they will tell you where to get them, or send them to you. Troy is a great guy. Tell him Steve C. sent you, if you call. (I need all the discounts I can get!)

Here are a couple of pictures of my seat belt setup. I used some 1"x1" angle iron and some flat bar to make up the brackets for the front and bent a couple pieces of flat bar 90 deg to make the mounts for the rear seat. I bolted the front angle to the cart using the roof support mounting bolts and drilled holes through the rear seat frame to mount the angles for the rear belts. I used 1/4" bolts, spacers and washers for the attaching hardware. I liked the idea of the retractable belts but couldn't beat the price of these (FREE). As far as noise they really don't make any, but they are pretty heavy compared to those usually marketed to the golf cart industry.

Click on my signature to view different pictures of many things including retractable seat belts. I purchased them from Carts Parts Plus, one of our vendors. Depending on if you have a rear seat and they type of rear seat will also determine where to mount the inside belts. Good luck
