check you individual battery voltage and post them it sound like you have at least one very week battery. A digital volt meter is needed. Make sure to check after charger has been unplugged for several hours.

Yes they are full and they seem to hold a charge. Althoughi don't know how long the ride time should be but longest I road between charges is maybe 40 min pedal floored. And doesn't seem to loose any power maybe 1 or 2 mph by the I get back

I had the same problem with my cart and two of the batterys did not pass the volt test. Replaced the two and every thing is working fine.
