Default Got infected by the NO REVERSE BUG

I just got finished installing my new 6" lift on my 97 48v CC. Everything was working fine before I started. Did the front end first, backed the cart outta the shop, turned it around so I could work on the back. I had to competely drop the rear axle out which means I removed all the cables to the motor. Before I did that I disconnected the hot and ground from the batts to make sure I had not juice to any of the cables. Removed the axle, re-installed with the lift, put everything back together. I am 100% sure I reconnected the motor cables back the way they were. I have forward but no reverse. I hear a click, but no movement. What went wrong? Thanks for any help.

Did you use 2, 9/16 wrenches to turn the nuts on the motor studs? if not, you could have spun a stud and broke the wires loose in the motor.

No, but the nuts broke loose pretty easily. The studs never seemed to spin. If that is the case, how do I fix it, or do I need to take it to the local cart shop? Crap!!!!!!

Can it be fixed?

I will have to look. I'm at work now. Do I flip it and flip it back to on? I'll look when I get home. What if it doesn't have the switch? To be continued....
