2006 Precedent Tail light

I give up. How do you change a factory installed tail light on a 2006 Precedent. It's a LED unit. I've searched the threads and I see where the kits are put on with double sided tape, is this true for the factory installs also.

It should be two sided tape.

Yep, should just be stuck on there. With a little heat, it should come off easier. Look just to be sure someone didn't drive a screw through the light for security, but if you don't see one, it's just stuck on there.
