Also the screw on top of carb that has the lock nut on it. I screwed it all the way in and it bottomed out before it was screwed all the way in. (like 8 to 10 threads still showing) But after it bottomed out I screwed it back out 1 1/2 turns and locked it down. Do I need to adjust that screw some more?

Sounds like you are all set Sir, button up your air box and i think your good to go. If there is no gas filter in the gas line between the tank and the pump please put one in. Nice job on your end, today is only my second day on this forum, look under "introduction" for Golf Course Mechanic, Enjoy the fruits of your labor,

Not really, that does not go all the way down as you found out. If you run the engine at a very low idle you might get it to idle just abit better, only at a very low idle. If it seems to run fine now leave it.

have 1997 ezgo new carb.new pulsar coil flywheel new plugs adjusted valves but no power
