Re: 5 panel mirror install question
I put on a few, they always screwed into the front roof support frame... I threw their cheap screws away and used self taping pan head screws or truss head screws.

Re: 5 panel mirror install question
I just found this photo of another company's extension brackets that look the same as DIY's brackets:
http://www.golfcarcatalog.com/produc...el-Mirror.html I'm more comfortable drilling through the supports than I am through the plastic roof. |

Re: 5 panel mirror install question
Well my last post showing how the other companies brackets are installed STILL doesn't work on mine. They don't line up.

Re: 5 panel mirror install question
I almost posted a sarcastic answer but instead
this what I would do. measure and drill new holes in the brackets and cut the extra off. Use a folding or ridged ruler to make accurate measurements. Smooth the cut ends with a file and paint. It should take 15 minutes. They probably won't vibrate as much. Last edited by DOOmsman; 11-07-2012 at 04:58 PM.. Reason: vibrate. |

I do have to say though, it really *x(*&%#! sucks that when you purchase a bracket specifically for this purpose and specifically for you cart that it still doesn't work. |

Re: 5 panel mirror install question
Bayberry, do you have the five panel #2496 wink mirror? If so, the first link brackets should work, as they are for 81-99. I don't see what the problem is???
