Default 1981 Yamaha G1 2 cycle Project

I am starting this thread for my new project that I am starting.

1981 Yamaha G1 with a 2 cycle engine

Here is the engine

I am missing the Voltage Regulator. Does anyone know if I can go without it?

Clearly I would like to paint this puppy. I have read of the types of paint to use has anyone used Automotive paint on their projects? Did It work well?

Just found the 1st Issue. I don't know what this is Im looking into it right now. Any ideas on how to fix it.???

You will have no charging system without the regulator, To me it would be a PIA to have to charge the battery all the time to use the cart.

Isn't that the oil injector? Is it broke or leaking?Just take it out of service and premix the gas.

Oil pump. Delete and mix your fuel.

What oil do I need to pre mix the gas

Does anyone know what kind of motor this is. The only markings I found were
