I went to the "Jakes" website and I watched their lift kit
video and I'm a little confused.

The serial number on my dash area is AA0140- so that would make my Club car a 2001 DS but when I watch the video it says that if my cart has black plastic dust covers I should order Lift kit 2004.5 or newer

My club car has black plastic dust covers but I'm under the impression that my club car is a 2001

I don't want to order the wrong Lift Kit. Can anyone shed some light on this???

OMG!! Thank you for your response. I just walked out to the garage and grabbed my box cutter and just lightly scraped the cap and sure enough the paint peeled off and exposed the silver underneath. I was just scratching my head on this one but thanks again for the comment.
