Default Brake drum and brake question .

Good morning,

All 3 of the drums in the picture have the same part number. But the top right vs the top left is manufactured different. The top right has more surface area that the brake shoes come in contact with. The top left has less surface area and as the drum is turned or wore down it digs into an area that is thicker material and as the brakes auto adjust they grind dig into the inner front side of hub creating a 45% bevel. Does anybody know what I'm talking about? Look were my finger is pointing in the picture, this is my problem. I need a new drum or the old style that has more surface area.

2005 DS IQ Cart. The brakes have the adjustment star on the bottom, are brakes auto adjusting? I couldn't find a sticky or a thread on these brakes.

Any thoughts?

Steve

Thanks CTD, back to my drum question? They have the same part number as item 3 above but they are different. There almost a 1/4 more surface on the drum on the right. The prob with the left drum is the auto adjust wont work be cause as they wear down the shoe's will come in contact with the inside front area of the drum. I confused.
