Rear end slip
Yesterday I was starting out from midway up a hill. It was on golf course at green, I released brake then when I pressed go pedal the cart rolled back a few inches and when it began to move it felt like there was slack in the gears or slip in something. It caught and never done it again. What was this. I have not tried to make it do it again. Don't want to tear up anything. Is this normal or do I have something going bad. I have searched for the same problem with not much luck.

I was on blacktop cart path. It was wet. Could have been ice

O K Today was damp out but ground was dry. My cart seems to slip like it was driven by a belt or something. I was on dry blacktop no water puddles. Just damp humid air. I was wondering if it could be the mocor does it operate like a wiper control. Such as a rheostat. I was thinking maybe it gets damp and does not work properly. The reason for this thought is when I would go WOT it seemed not to do the slip thing. Just when starting out normal. Also when driving along slowly. Again my cart is a 2003 DS IQ.

I am sure someone on here knows how the mocor works and if it could be what is causing my problem with my cart

Thanks Steve, I think I may need to clean and maybe try to seal mine. This happens on moist humid days.
