Default Speed Sensor Swap in Captiva FL

Gang:

Glad to have found this forum.
Long Story short, on vacation in Captiva.

Trucked my stock 08 club car precedent all the way from Orlando.

Took her off the trailer, drove 2 miles perfect.
Stop for some ice cream and only will go half speed.

Charged it fully, water is good.

Rolling alarm does not work and auto-braking does not work either.

From what I gather it's the speed sensor. Unplugged it and nothing changes, same speed, same no alarm and no auto-braking.

Is anyone from the area with this part and the ability to swap for me, salvaging the balance of cart time in Captiva?

Thanks for your consideration!!

-Scotty

Thanks.
I figured as much.

Let me ask a question.
I have heard about after-market sensors that play a trick on the computer.

Is this something I should consider or go back to the OEM sensor?
The cart does like 16-17 mph. Be nice to go a little faster.

Thanks again.

Personally if I had to buy a new sensor anyway I would get the 2 speed aftermarket for sale for about $90 on ebay... Just my 2 cents worth
